Smartbro connection transfer

SmartBro I'm upset.

I just had my services transferred to another location and within two days they responded and installed the equipment.

I just paid a thousand bucks for it. I would have to add 450 bucks if I was the one who uninstalled the the equipment. Since I'm a downright cheap person, plus it's not that hard to go on the rooftop and disconnect the wiring, I did it myself.

However, there's a problem with my connection. Apparently right now; whenever I open a browser, I am redirected to their Smartbro portal informing me to use my account number and service request number to get in. However, I still couldn't push through.

I went to their local office to raise the matter, however, I was told that I'd still have to call the customer service hotline for they don't have any live technicians there. I was thinking that my account was barred of internet connection because I wasn't able to pay or something but they said that my account was very much updated and that I just had to wait for a call from a tech.

When I arrived home, I kept on calling the hotline because I was having a hard time getting through. When I finally talked to a rep, I was given some basic troubleshooting steps. I just had to enter my service request number and account number in the Smartbro Portal webpage. However, it had different errors. It came to a point that they had to forward the problem to their technical department. I think it had something to do with activating my equipment or something. They said I had to wait for 24 hours until it'll be fixed. All the time I was upset because of the time that was spent doing nothing. It was my days off and I had no internet connection. It was such a bummer.

The next day, it was working. When I called to request for some credit, the Smartbro rep said that he couldn't issue me some because the time it took for me to create the trouble ticket and the time that the issue was fixed didn't even reach 24 hours. I told him that I was out of service for 2.5 days but I called them the the next day. So basically, I didn't have any "day" or "days" I was out of service.

I gave a bit of a lecture to the rep, saying that they shouldn't treat customers like that. I told them that I wasn't able to call directly through their hotline to create a trouble call because I didn't have any Smart phone. I had to go to their local office just to discuss the matter and I was redirected to calling the hotline again. That alone, had inconvenienced me because of travelling and the time. However, the agent didn't budge in. I didn't want to argue anymore.

I currently work for an internet service provider and I usually know the tricks on how to go about these situations. But I just gave up and didn't ask for a supervisor anymore. The Smartbro service is in general, okay for me. The experience just had to happen to me.

Till then.

Unionbank EON, what's going on?

Unionbank EON, what's going on?

I haven't had any response from you ever since I called. A rep promised that I'll receive an email from your team that the issue over my "change transaction (TXN) password" will be fixed but up to now, I haven't received any update.

I'm just PO because of the hassle and the frustration this has caused me. What's the purpose of online banking, isn't it for convenience? Sigh. I guess I'll have to contact a some of your people again and explain (AGAIN) what's going on and why I can't get passed the Unionbank EON page. Can't your staff just access my account online right after verifying my security information? Sheesh. This is just too much work for me.

upset over Unionbank EON's TXN Password

I'm just upset right now. I'm upset over Unionbank EON's Reset TXN (Transaction) Password feature. This is a new security feature of Unionbank whenever I'd try to log in to my online account to check my funds online.

As what was stated in my previous entry, I couldn't get passed the Change Transaction Password page wherein it's asking me to enter my current password and type in a new one.

Again, I can't change my transaction password because I DON'T know what my TRANSACTION password is!!!

I already called Unionbank in some of the branches here in Cebu and they told me that they can only email the internet security team to reset my password. To be fair, Unionbank's internet Security team was quick in replying stating that they've sent a RESET for my current transaction password and that I just have to go to the "My Account" option to change it. Here's the copy of the email that I received:

Subject: Transaction Password Reset Procedure
From: "internetsecurity"
Message:
Please be advised that your transaction password has been reset. You will be asked to nominate a new transaction password. Please follow the following procedure:

1.) Login online using your USER ID and ATM PIN as your Login password.

2.) Upon successful login - check out the alert "RESET TRANSACTION PASSWORD NOW"

3.) Go to "MY PROFILE" then, on the left side click "RESET TRANSACTION PASSWORD"

4.) Upon clicking the "RESET TRANSACTION PASSWORD" the system will prompt a confirmation

5.) Upon confirmation, the system will prompt you the default password - it will be the last or first 10 digits of your ATM card number. Please make sure that the new password you are going to nominate is different from your old password.

6.) The system will prompt you for a successful "password change"

Regards,

EBANKING SERVICES

Now the only problem is I still can't get passed that "Change Transaction Password" page, there's NO option for me to go to that page.

I called the customer service hotline (1-800-1888-2277) of UnionBank since the different branches here in Cebu couldn't do much. A customer service rep named "Mark" answered the phone and after going through the whole explanation again, he informed me that he was going to send an email to reset the password. That's when I had to reiterate that there's NO PROBLEM WITH THE PASSWORD. The problem is I CAN'T get passed the screen already to go to the "My Accounts" tab.

He told me to just expect a response to the email that I provided him within 24 hours but up to now (3 days), I haven't received any response. I'm afraid I'd have to call back again and explain... AGAIN.

Notice that I wrote some of my words in caps and I don't care as much anymore because I'm just upset over the hassle that this has caused me. Somebody at Unionbank, please answer and fix this problem!
