So many issues have been going on with my Paypal account. Grrrr... And I'm also pretty busy with my full time job that I can't seem to update this site. But somehow, I'm glad that these issues are popping up, they help me have a topic to write about in this blog. I just don't like it that everything is coming to my direction in bulk.
I suddenly pressed the Upgrade Button and now I changed my paypal account to a Premier one. Supposedly, it should have been alright. But when I checked my account twice, it showed that for every transaction I receive for being paid, they will take a certain amount from me.
I have to read through the guidelines and rules again the difference between a premier and a personal account. Since I don't use this account for business
I wish they have a toll free number to call so I can just contact them through skype or something. But it seems that I just have to email them regarding my concern to downgrade my premier to a personal account.
Upon checking out some forums online, here's a tip one can make in order to request the paypal people to downgrade your account.
1. Log in
2. Click the Help link.
3. Click the Contact Us link.
4. Under Help by Email click the Contact Customer Service link.
5. Select My Account Profile topic.
6. Select Downgrade Account in the subtopic box.
7. Enter your request for an account-type change.
8. Click Continue.
We'll see what happens.

Unionbank answered me!
Unionbank EON update. Unionbank answered me!
I went to a Unionbank branch and talked with one of their reps and explained the problem regarding the website and their security question.
Unionbank's EON TXN password was getting on my nerves on that day so what I did is confront the rep and discussed all that happened. I told them that I already called the customer service hotline but I still had the same problem. Although they did give me some steps on how to update it, it never really addressed the concern.
Since the branch or any local branch couldn't help me because all Internet-banking related issues can only be handled over the phone thru their call center, they let me talk to another agent and I had to reiterate everything that I had ever done.
I talked to another person and that agent assured me that he was going to reset my password so I could log in and I wouldn't have any problems anymore. I told him again that I already called but he said he's really going to fix it.
I felt hopeless but I had nothing else to do but wait.
Fortunately, when I logged in to my account, I was able to get into it! I'm just glad that I got everything all sorted out.
Case closed, I hope.

Paypal account limited status
My account has been reduced to a LIMITED status.
Because of the previous issue I had with somebody hacking my paypal account, I've been undergoing a lot of changes to help boost the security. Ever since my paypal account got hacked, I received a number of precautionary measures to help keep my account more secure. One of which is to change my password to a stronger one. I was able to set-up two security questions as well.
The only thing I need to ensure now is to upload a file that has my proof of billing address. I'm planning to scan my credit card statement and upload it in their server which will serve as my proof of billing. I just hope they accept it.

Paypal responded to my dispute!
Paypal responded to my dispute!
I logged on to my personal email account and was glad to see a reply from Paypal. Last week, I sent a dispute request for an unauthorized claim that I sent money to a certain person when I didn't.
I received a reply from PayPal. Here's the response that I got from them.
Dear Edcel ****,
PayPal is processing your unauthorized activity claim regarding the following transaction(s):
-----------------------------------
Details of Disputed Transaction
-----------------------------------
Seller's Name: ****************
Seller's Email: ************
Seller's Transaction ID: ********
Transaction Date: Sep 29, 2008
Transaction Amount: -$76.00 USD
Your Transaction ID: ***********
Case Number: ************
Buyer's Transaction ID: ***************
While we investigate this claim, funds equal to the disputed amount have been returned to your PayPal account. Once our investigation is complete, any portion of this transaction that now forms part of your balance and that was originally funded by your debit card, credit card or bank account may be automatically transferred from your PayPal account to that card or bank account. Please note that it might take up to 30 days for the refund to be credited to your card depending on the relevant card issuer.
For additional information or to track the status of your claim, log in to your PayPal account at https://www.paypal.com/ and go to the Resolution Center.
Sincerely,
PayPal
Upon checking twice, I found out that I got my 76 bucks back! I'm relieved that after about a week's time, I got the 76 dollars that was sent to a certain email.
However, as they say, this is somewhat temporary only as they're still investigating the claim regarding the money that was sent. Hopefully everything will be okay.
But I know that I have a lot of issues surrounding this account. Will be updating you on what happened.

I withdrew the rest of the money in my paypal to my Banco de Oro account
Since my paypal account got hacked, and I don't want any unauthorized transactions to take place again, I decided to withdraw the rest of the money in my paypal account to my bank account.
I used Banco De Oro as my bank.
Step 1: Sign in to your paypal account, click on Withdraw and choose "Withdraw funds to your bank account. You will be tasked to list in the bank code for the type of bank that you're going to use, also Paypal is going to ask you to type in your account number so you can add your bank. Type in the necessary information and it will take you to this screen.
Step 2: Afterwards, they're going to let you review your information to verify and confirm.
Step 3: Click on "Submit" and then this is the page that will show.
Step 4: Just to confirm, click on "View details of my withdrawal request"
So I'm here, waiting for the paypal to be transferred to my account.
Somebody hacked my paypal account!
Somebody hacked my paypal account!
I don't know what happened but when I checked my mail, I got a message saying that
I never thought this would happen to me but it did and now I'm all pissed off again. The incident with the security transaction password of Unionbank EON in my previous entries weren't even solved and now I got this problem.
I just hate it, I never sent an authorized payment to that certain email address and now I lost 76 bucks! sheesh. What I did before this problem might happen again is change my password and withdrew all my money left. I have around 280 bucks left which is supposed to be used sometime November to pay off for my tuition fee in school so I could get back studying. However, because of this, I'm still going to suffer a lot. Sigh.
I already sent a dispute request to the Paypal resolution center and I'm waiting for a response from them. I'm crossing my fingers, including my toes.

still pissed off with Unionbank EON
Sigh, I never thought this online banking account would be taxing.
Up to now I still haven't received any response from Unionbank. Sheesh.
I'm getting more and more upset knowing that I don't have any update from them whatsoever.
I guess I'll have to give them a call again and talk about that Reset TXN Password security issue again.
To think I've dedicated 3 entries already on this blog about that Change transaction password issue. I guess there's more to come then.
